Sunil Bharti Mittal is the CEO of Indian telecom company Airtel. Sunil Mittal was also honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Bhushan Award in 2007. Sunil Bharti Mittal has always desired to be a businessman. He started working in business when he was 18 years old.
First and foremost, Sunil Mittal and his friends established a modest cycling business. In which he utilised to create several Hero Cycle pieces. Sunil Mittal, however, thought that he would not be able to do anything bigger than this business, so he left it and founded “Bharti Overseas Trading Company” with his brothers.
This work began to pay off for him. Sunil Mittal then began selling portable generators in Japan by getting an import licence in 1981. Sunil Mittal’s operation proceeded well after that, however it was soon closed.
Sunil Bharti Mittal did not give up, and in 1984, the Taiwanese business Kingtel began production of the push button, or wired phone. His work began to flourish.
